Firy Chicken Tandoor

Ingredients

1.Chicken drumsticks -8
2.Plain Yogurt- 1 table spoon
3.Medium hot chilli powder-3 teaspoon
4.Chicken Curry Masala-1 table spoon
5.salt-3/4 teaspoon
6. Lime-1

Method

Remove skin from chicken drumsticks and make couple of shallow cuts on both sides of drumsticks for better application of masala.

Mix yogurt,Chilli powder,Chicken masala and salt in a bowl.

Squeeze juice of one lime into the mix and make it slightly thick paste.

Apply the mix all over the drumsticks and into the cuts.

Arrange marinated drumsticks over a raised wire mesh placed inside a baking tray.

keep the tray in the middle of an oven and cook it for 20 mins at 190 degree.

After 20 mins turn sides of drumsticks and cook it for another 10 mins.

Firy chicken ready to take out.

Have with hot peri peri sauce for a best kick.

Mushroom Varutharachathu Dry

Ingredients:

1.Mushroom-300g
2.Oil-1or 2 tablespoon
3.Salt-To taste
4.Black Pepper Powder- 1 teaspoon
5.Water-Half cup
6.Dried Red Chilli-4
7.Fenugreek-4
8.Whole black pepper-6
9.Cumin-A small pinch
10.Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
11. Grated Coconut(Dried )- half cup

How to Prepare:

On a dry pan ,heat items 6-9 without oil for a minute.
Add dried coconut and continue heating with stirring till coconut become light brown
Add coriander powder and continue heating with stirring till the mix become dark brown
Grind the mix in a blender ,add a quarter cup of water and continue grinding till a thick fine paste
Add 1 table spoon of oil into a hot deep pan and add chopped mushroom and saute
Once most of the water from the mushroom is oozed out strain it out
Add remaining oil and saute mushroom with salt and pepper powder till whole water dries out and oil starts separating
Add the ground paste into the mushroom and heat it up a little
Add little more water if gravy is too dry and heat it up to a consistency of thick gravy
Add a little pepper corns at the end for that initial kick
